Game Overview
Alien: Isolation 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the acclaimed survival horror game, developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega. The game was officially announced in October 2024 and first shown at Summer Game Fest 2026 . It follows a similar premise to the original: you are part of a team investigating a mysterious crashed ship on a colony planet, only to discover that a Xenomorph is loose, forcing you to do whatever it takes to survive .

Release Information:

No Official Release Date: Sega and Creative Assembly have not provided a release year or window. The development team has confirmed that no release date announcement will happen during Gamescom 2026 .

Expected Release: Industry estimates suggest a release no earlier than late 2027 .

Development Status: Footage shown so far is in a pre-alpha state .

Important Warning for the Original Alien: Isolation: For players revisiting the original game, a +14 Cheat Engine table is available with functions including health, stamina, instant kill, rapid fire, no reload, and level 3 blueprints/tools .

Mods
Alias Isolation (Alias Isolation Mod): A mod that significantly improves the game's visuals by fixing shimmering, jagged edges, and crawling reflections. This is a key mod for getting the best visual experience from the original Alien: Isolation .

Installation Instructions for Alias Isolation :

Download version 1.2.0 or newer of the mod (includes aliasIsolation.asi, d3d11.dll, and the mods folder).

Locate the game folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Alien Isolation.

Drop the files directly into the root folder where AI.exe is located.

In-game settings required: Set Anti-Aliasing to SMAA T1x, disable Chromatic Aberration, and enable Motion Blur.

Press Delete (or Ctrl + Delete) in-game to open the mod menu and adjust sharpening and other visual effects.

Co-op Mod for Original Game: A fan-made co-op mod for the original Alien: Isolation is currently in development by modder Dropper7894 . This mod allows two friends to play the original game together, though it is not yet complete .
